Just curious. I don’t normally think about upgrades a year out, but just wondering if anyone expected much in the way of changes.
They will slap a badge on the box, introduce a new color, and call it a "special edition."
Every year of Apple Watch rumors new design and blood pressure sensor.Rumors are mixed right now. It ranges from “no major changes” to “new design, screen tech, and blood pressure sensor”. I don’t think we can draw any conclusions at this point.
I will say I don’t think Apple can afford to have a 10th anniversary watch with “no major changes”. So I expect something is coming. But I don’t know what that will be.
Not true, some years it’s a blood glucose sensor! 😁Every year of Apple Watch rumors new design and blood pressure sensor.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see at least some of the new features only in the higher priced Stainless Steel models and/or the Ultra.A price hike to about a grand seems pretty fitting. "We think you'll love it!"![]()
Yes, and they were so keen on releasing the redesign as a 10th anniversary edition that they even skipped the iPhone 9 moniker to do it. That said, if the number of my friends, coworkers and acquaintances who refer to that model as the iPhone "Ecks" rather than "ten" is any indication, I'm not sure everyone understood their marketing.Yeah, same as they did with the iPhone X 🙄
But not with the iPad thoughYeah, same as they did with the iPhone X 🙄
Unless technology advances a good bit there will be no "giant leaps" in Apple's watch abilities. Blood pressure and sugar levels are still a way out. Apple can not and well not introduce unless it is very accurate and then it would need to be approved before it went into use. I do not see that happening in the next year.
Actually, yes, but, not actual blood pressure but “trends” … that’s quite a differenceThe most recent rumour from Gurman was that the X may indeed get blood pressure. Which would be a very worthy flagship feature for the X. OTOH the re-design by itself would/will sell a lot of Watches, so maybe they‘ll wait with blood pressure until the 11.
