no .. no bluetooth.

also (for the future reference):

1. It is not an iphone, (if you put wrong passcode and run out of tries iPod Touch will say that I am an iPhone)

2. it does not have a camera (if you connect it to windows, it will say that I am an imaging device)

Then what are those pictures I see of the (sort of wonky) firmware where it says that bluetooth is disabled?

Also, the original picture on apple.com had a bluetooth icon.

That was a diagnostics utility which is the same as the iPhone's, hence the Bluetooth icon.

The Apple pics are "Photoshopped", not real photos.

I see you appreciate my sense of humour :D

It's extremely unlikely they have a bluetooth chip sat there disabled. The Touch firmware is a very quick (IMO last-minute) port of the iPhone firmware, and a lot of little iPhone references made it across accidentally.

no, sorry, no bluetooth.

the diagnostic utility was either fake or borrowed from iPhone, the photos on Apple's website did not show real screen, they were photoshoped screens and some lazy designer used screens from iPhone's stock images.
