As the title states, I'm so excited because last night I finally decided to take the upgrade plunge! Even though High Sierra has been out for over a year. So far there's been no issues (except for some type of startup delay | I've been researching it, but re-enabling TRIM does not seem to help) I've learned over the past few years to err on the side of caution with apple Mac OS updates/releases. Personally I feel quality control is somewhat lacking as of late.

Machines that were updated -

iMac 2011 21.5" i5 2.7GHz 16GB RAM SSD+1TB HD
Macbook Pro 2012 13" i7 2.9GHz 8GB RAM SSD+750GB HD
Mac Mini 2012 i7 2.3GHz 16GB RAM SSD+1TB HD (Used as entertainment server)

Incidentally, also in Toronto and considering the plunge. 3/5 are already on HS, but my two main personal devices are running Sierra happily.

I’m thinking about upgrading my 2012 retina MBP from Sierra to High Sierra. I hope it’s not a mistake. Sierra has been running well. I have a bootable copy of Sierra that I can revert to if need be. My machine is an i7 with 16 gb of RAM and nVidea GT 650 graphics, 256 gb SSD.
