i thought google chrome 15 was supposed to hav that shiney feature, am i missing something? i just upgraded and dont see it.

im not asking about gestures, in safari there is the beautiful animation when u swipe the page back and forward, i dont see it on chrome 15

I like what Chrome did. There is a neat little arrow that travels across your screen as you swipe back or forward. Works quite well! This is in Chrome 15.

yeah kind of nice and works faster for me than safari's animation.

not as pretty but i'd rather take the speed.

I prefer Chrome's arrow as well.
Now they need to implement smooth pinch-to-zoom like in Safari.

i dont see any arrow when swiping in my magic mouse with 2 finger to go back or forward in chrome? is it a trackpad only thing?

oh i see, so i enabled one finger swipe instead of 2 and now i see the arrow, pretty cool

Did they fix the reversed gestures?
Initially you couldn't use 2 finger gesture to go backwards/forwards. They fixed that in one of the later builds. But since Lion changed the gestures to the "natural" way, meant the gestures were now reversed in Chrome. Hope they got that resolved.

I think the Chrome arrow is better, plus swiping back and forward through pages in Safari seems to keep reloading the page. Doesn't do that in Chrome.

There is no way Chrome will "animate" the gesture. Apple probably have a patent on it.

Sleipnir has a very similar animation for the same gesture, except for switching between tabs instead of pages in your history

Yes it does.

Does anybody else have a problem when scrolling down with the magic mouse and accidentally swipe back in chrome? It's really aggravating how touchy it is.

Ohhh ya, I get this. I had to disable one finger swipes because it was driving me crazy, back to the good old two finger swipes.
