I migrated from a Macbook Pro to a Mac Pro yesterday and now I have an Airport Icon in the menu bar that I can't get rid of. The MBP had an Airport card (obviously) and the MP doesn't. So, I can't go in and turn it "off"...

Any suggestions on how to remove the Airport icon in the menu bar? :)

I have given this advice a few times... And yet, I still didn't do it...

For those who might run into a similar problem, you can Command - Drag an icon off the menu bar...

I learn something new every day...

Thanks for the quick reply...

The problem I was having was, since I didn't have an airport card in the MP, I didn't even have the Airport option in the Network settings...

After looking closer at the menu bar, there was also a "blank" icon that was trying to show my battery status :)
