ive been out of the iphone game for only a month now, and it feels like i lost all knowledge of the product and years of unlocking and sources.

so i know this question is going to piss some of you off, however, where else thenmac rumors to ask. i just really cant find the answers to what i am looking for. is the only way to pre order with a at an t account. if i buy it from best buy or apple will i be able to use my sim like the ipad or is there unlock out there? waht is going on ?

it will be a abet before you can buy them off the shelf at $599 and $699 my guess is fall. a unlock will be out by then for sure. but you will only get Edge on the network not sure if it's worth it. and no you can't preorder with out being with att and ETF is $375 now plus 2 months service. in other words it will cost more then the 599-699
