I back up all my iOS devices to iTunes and restore from that backup whenever I get a newer model of the device. My 2013 Mac Pro does not have USB-C/Thunderbolt 3. Other than using iCloud back up, which I don't want to can I connect USB-C to USB-A to my Mac Pro? I know they make a C to A adapter, and I could use that and a USB A-A cable to connect to Mac Pro. I wonder if that will work.
