Graphics designers are everywhere. Lots of freelancers and small businesses mainly. But that's my problem: there are so many, and most seem fit—how do I find one that will match me best?

Im a graphic designer. Usually we get hired on reputation or word of mouth but sometimes it can be purely down to style and quality of work. Once you have identified a designer who's work you like then calling them in for a chat about your requirements and what the designer can offer you will help you determine if the designer is right for your current needs.

I'm looking for work right now but I get a feeling you are in the US? I'm based in the UK.

If you want to know more just PM me. :)

Okay, that's clear, thanks. It appears that it's mostly a matter of who you happen to know and like. Not a bad thing per se.

I used to know a drug dealer, and he put me in touch with some very good media guys.

As an enormous generalisation, weed and decent designers can be found together.
