I get on the iPhone they are built into the messages app that already exists, and it works automatically.

But how does this transfer to the ipad?

Do i attatch my email adress to my mobile number?
Do I get a pin number and attatch that to my mobile number?

How does my ipad and iphone keep in sync?

i would assume that there'll be a messages app in iOS5 for iPad that'll be able to receive the message, because it's working over different devices for the same messages i would have thought they'll tie it to your AppleID so that it can keep everything synced.

Its related to your iCloud ID i believe, and simply by the look of it, the same as apps like whatsapp.
It seams to be pretty good in all honestly.

You can send pictures / photos etc
