So How is Garageband 08???

I haven't seen anyone really talk about it yet.

Is it better????? Or did Apple screw this app up too.

It's pretty much the same as before but looks a little nicer

haven't actually noticed anything new yet but I'm a logic user anyway so I don't know the app all that well

the only new thing is magic garageband but that doesn't interest me whatsoever

from the release notes the ability to record at 24-bit (as opposed to the old limitation of 16) takes the app from toy to tool. for me i could now make satisfying recordings. huge.

I was thinking a similar thing and found this Macworld article quite interesting.

From what I hear though, you cannot export GB 08 projects into Logic Pro 7.2. Kind of a non-starter for me, as I find the workflow for basic recording in Garageband useful, and then I do all of my post-production stuff in Logic. Maybe Logic 08 is around the corner?
