So I bought the iphone 3gs.

I went to the ATT store saturday and the only iphone left was a white 32gb, since I was going for a black 16gb I decided not to buy it. The rep guy told me he could order it... so I whipped the debit card and payed for it and the rep told me to wait 7 days. But I logged on today to check on the shipping and it's suposed to arrive in 2 days, so it's gonna be 3 days earlier! So far I've spent 200 dollars, and have 37 left. 30 for the activation, 7 for the cover. The at the end of the month the huge bill will come at my door and my soul will belong to ATT.

Congrats first of all. You will love the phone. Now the activation fee is actually 36 but a quick call and some sweet talk can get that waived. I have never paid an activation fee. Now I dont know how old you are but as someone who has personally made bad financial decisions in my younger years DO NOT BE CELL PHONE POOR. It is a great device but a great "PHONE" its not. You seem like you are pushing the limit and your bill will be a minimum of 70 dollars a month with data plan. You have a little time to decide but just a piece of advice its not so great a device you spend all your money on a bill and have no recreation money. Hope you enjoy just be wise if you are pinching pennies.
