Now how do I move everything from the iphone 3gs to the 4. Do I restore from my iphone 3 gs backup? The att store said you turn on itune sync it does it all for you. Nope lol

restore from backup and all your old phone's settings and data will get migrated over

You mean authorize? You have to authorize the computer to transfer the apps. One of the top menus is where it is.
