So I can't import a movie from my iPhone 4 to my iPad?

I tried to connect my iPhone 4 to my computer, used image utility to import the HD movies I've shot into iPhoto and tried to sync those movies with my iPad and iTunes tells me that these videos cannot be copied/played on my iPad.

Serious? Am I doing something wrong or missing anything?

Try adding it as a movie, not through iPhoto. Don't know if that will help though.

I've used the Camera kit to connect my iPhone 4 to my iPad. The iPad played the videos w/o issue, so the iPad hardware is not the issue.
