...and everything was PERFECT! The machine is amazing. I love it. And yet, I managed to put a damper on the day.

I had a heck of a time manually upgrading the memory. I read the directions and it said to place a towel or cloth down before putting it on its screen. I didn't see the reason and so I did not do so. Unfortunately now, the screen has a few hairline scratches and the case is quite scratched. Granted, its not very visible, but it still bothers me that on the very first day, I somehow managed to screw something up.

Can someone console me? :)

I'll make sure I put a towel down when I do mine when I get it, be happy you've got one. At least it's not as bad as my iPod anyway, I got it one the last day of my January exams this year, and the first thing I did with it was drop it and put a gash in the screen. Since then it's been dented and everything thoug so I'm not fussed.
