Like a lot of kids her age my daughter streams so I gave her all my audio stuff which gave me the opportunity to replace the setup I was using for podcasting. I've damaged my hearing enough that I really can't appreciate most audiophile stuff so I wasn't going to spend a ton of money on audio stuff. I tuned to duck duck go and YouTube to find the best stuff for the money I was willing to spend and ended up with a FIIO K3 and some Sony MDR7506 headphones for less than $200 all in and I'll say for the my Punk/Jazz/Blues/Audio book listening this setup makes me really happy. The bad mid's I kept hearing about seem to benefit my music or is killed by the FIIO (I dunno) regardless If you like the same type of music I do this setup is pretty outstanding.
Having said that I would NEVER use these headphones on the go because the cable would get in the way of everything though I will try them on my iPhone just to see how they sound there.
