I'm curious if it will run properly on my MB 2.2 ? My brother has it installed on his PC and it says his computer is too slow... it's a 1,4Ghz with an OK vidcard. So is it worth spending an hour installing this, or will it be useless in the end (I mean that in will it run or not). Or should I just install XP?

If I want to use bootcamp, should I back up my entire drive (done) and will it ERASE my drive? Or is it not at all like that and very safe to do? If it erases the disk, I'd rather use some virtualization mode ...

Thank you.

How much RAM have you got?

If it's greater than 2GB, then go with Vista on bootcamp first (that way you get all the proper drivers). If not then go with XP.

Vista is nicer to use, better featured and more secure than XP. I've had almost zero problems with it on my MacBook.

If you want, later you can get VMWare and run your bootcamp partition and your good apps side by side.
