So my university address is TECHNICALLY a P.O. Box but whenever I ask anything to be shipped to me, I exclude the P.O. Box and just throw in the number underneath the street address because the mailing service identifies me by my name.

Now I'm wondering if this will stop UPS from delivering my phone to them? I've had the mailing service sign for a couple of other things that had to be signed for, but will this be different?

I just don't want there to be any issues tomorrow morning...

Do you live in a dorm or apartment complex? If so you can have it delivered to the main office since that will have an address. This is common for most people who live in dorms or apartments. All you have to do is go pick it up from them later in the day. Easy.

I live in a dorm, but the entire university has a mailing service. That's the address it's being shipped to.

Yeah whenever I get packages, I pick it up from there about 2 hours after it gets delivered. But what I was wondering - there shouldn't be any problem with delivery right? Like, they're not going to say oh "iZeeshan87" isn't here to sign for it, so we have to take it back?

It doesn't have to be you. As long as SOMEONE's signing for it.

I am also in a university that does this.
The school's postal office signs it for you so it should be fine.
The only problem I ever had was getting online websites to actually accept me putting in the Box # even though its not really going to be delivered through a PO Box.

Oh okay great.

Haha yeah I know what you mean but I just avoid putting in the P.O. Box from now on and just put my Box number which it accepts as like an Apt. number or something :)

Thats exactly what my school does also, I also just put my mail box number as the second address line. Never had a problem.

Yea at my University we put Box No. 123 and you always had a sheet to sign with the tracking number sticker for pickup.

Just have to make sure your billing and shipping addresses are different (Some places default your billing to shipping address!!!!
