kept putting off installing the latest versions of 4.0 beta so my version one finally expired on me today. will my phone not work till official 4.0 is released or am i still able to install the newest version of beta? do i still have the option of going back to 3.1.3?

its a 3G (att) and im using a mac if any of that makes a difference.

thanks in advance.

I found the solution

Try to connect your iPhone to your mac and the launch Xcode... it should ask for your developer login info and then it should upgrade itself. If that doesn't work try the following.

You need to go to developer.apple.com and then download the 4.0 beta firmware again... because it's a newer version of the 4.0 beta version.... and then you use Xcode to reinstall your iphone.

I hope it can help you all :)

PS: I apologize if my english is a little rough :)

PPS: if you are not official developers this probably can't help you. sorry

I see it as simply the impatience of youth combined with the absence of thinking about the final results of their actions before they jump.

And that combo "gets them" every time !
