What I mean by this, is I lost the part of the charger that plugs the power brick directly into the wall. I still have the extension cable, so I can comfortably charge my MBP, but I'd like to replace the smaller AC plug (can someone tell me what its actual name is?)

I don't see it listed on the apple site so they may not sell it separately. There is one that comes with the Apple 12W USB Power Adapter for $19.95. Or you can buy another power supply.

You can buy the service part directly from Apple, but you'll probably have to call them. They may have them available at the Apple Store.

I'd give apple a call, or just search on amazon. Both will yield the results you're looking for.

You can get them all day long on ebay for a less than $5 including shipping. I had had to order a couple of them for some MacBooks I was refurbing.
