I ordered 3 iPhone 64gb 4.7 's a couple of days ago online at att dot com, and the 2 gold ones will be here in about a week. But Mine - a - grey one, will be here in 5 weeks. so...
Does anyone think that i can walk into my hick town att store next Friday morning and pick one up and then cancel the pre-order?
Advice, opinions and flames are all welcome. ;)
I dont want to wait 5 weeks. Actually, I do have cash to buy one outright, but I don''t think ATT will do that on Friday and I won't even try the Apple store 15 miles away, it will be packed.
I'll even do the 128 gig to get one sooner.

Wouldn't hurt to try. ATT store probably won't be as packed as an Apple Store. I'm sure you are not the only one doing this on Friday so they can get one faster.

If you're asking if they will have stock... I don't know...

If you;re asking if this is doable IF they have stock, absolutely.

I dropped by my ATT store just now and asked..
He said that I could, but would have to cancel my pre order first. Store employees cannot cancel the order. In addition, they are getting a whopping 13 phones to sell on Friday. I guess I'll keep my preorder active and give up on getting one in a reasonable amount of time. All of mine are still preparing to ship. Lowly stage one :(
