I still have an Apple TV 3, which I haven’t used in years.

Slow, laggy, and the last time I powered it up YouTube was no longer available.

To me, it’s not much more use than a doorstop.

What would the new Apple TV offer?

I understand there’s actually an Apple TV App Store? If so, are there many good apps?

Also, as per the title, what free trials come with it?

Thank you in advance, and wishing you a Merry Christmas.

I think you get Apple TV+ for 3 months. There are so many improvements it would be hard to list them all. I’d suggest just looking at the Apple product page for the Apple TV.
Many thanks.

Do the included trials stack with my existing trials I got from Sky?

Also, what type of HDMI cable will I need for my 4K HDR10 Samsung TV?

Thanks again.

In the US, I don't think so. Could be different in other regions though.

Offer cannot be combined with Apple One, or other free trials or offers for Apple
TV+.

Only one offer per Family, regardless of number of devices purchased. You can
share your Apple TV+ subscription with up to 5 other family members via Family
Sharing.

This offer is not available if you or your Family have previously accepted an Apple
TV+ one year free offer.

Just an aside comment. The new Apple TV is a very nice streaming device. But your wifi is kind of a limiter for any streaming device.
