It sucks that you can't just wait in line in the morning at the Apple store with this particular launch. I don't know what the hell they are thinking.

There are too many different configurations of each watch to be able to stock at every store. They'll sell out of certain ones quick, and then they'll have people who'll buy watches they didn't want who may try to return it later, or pissed off customers complaining in store.
Really? I just put in an order for the blue 42mm and will cancel my white 42mm if it ships first.

I want a 38mm sports. The color doesn't matter to me. I didn't want one until I saw my buddies watch lol.
I spoke to an apple rep last night re: band swap and he told me he is seeing black stainless watch orders getting July and August ship dates now.

I just ordered today a SG 38mm, and got June (France).
I also have a SG 42mm waiting for june since 12th
(I think it may be important to note the country; might not be the same depending on the store you buy it.)
P.S. I'm considering buying a 38mm blue sport. Anyone knows if the limitation to 3 watches is still present/real?

No. If you order a 38mm Sport with the Blue band today, chances are pretty good you'll have it Tuesday. Ignore the "June" delivery window. I ordered one on Thursday and it is supposed to arrive on Monday.

Which version? The Blue Sport seems to be in fairly abundant supply. I'm guessing they overestimated demand for that one. The other varieties seem to be in tighter supply.
I ordered the 42mm Blue sport on 4/12 (I signed up for a try on appointment instead of just pre ordering it like I should have). I'm hopeful because it seems to be a "not as popular" band choice, but seeing people say that they were able to order 38 and 42 as late as wednesday and already receive shipping confirmations is starting to annoy me.
Oh well, I'll just have to wait and see what happens. I hope it ships soon!
I think it's just the 38mm that is shipping now. The 42mm seems to be delayed a bit, but since that's the one going to developers my guess is that yours will go out at the same time.
