So if you drop your iPhone, what do Apple charge to replace it?

I haven't dropped mine and have no intention of doing so. I am however thinking of taking the case off of my 4S.

If the worst was to happen and I dropped the phone accidentally, say face down and shattered the screen or chipped it badly, what would apple charge for replacing it?

Is it the cost of a brand new phone or less?

Get Apple Care + if you are concerned--I have it so I don't worry so much about not using a case.

I don't think you can get Apple Care + here in the UK.

if the cost to replace the phone was about £200 then I'd pay that to get it replaced.

I can't speak for the UK...

Broken 4S in the states costs $200 to swap.
Broken any other model iPhone $150

I would imagine prices would be similar, but obviously cannot say for sure.

Apple care+ isnt available in the UK, however, for a smashed screen or any other replacement thats either out of warranty or human error is a flat rate of £119 i believe.

making the assumption of no applecare, i don't know, the best thing to do is to look after your stuff.

More I think about it the more it probably makes sense just to leave the case on. I just think the iPhone 4s especially in white looks awesome without a case.
