so I'm upgrading.... first time doing so

so could someone tell me how this will work?
I'm coming from a 2g original... so when I upgrade to the
3gs and activate it a) will my 2g cease to exist as a phone
upon 3gs activation? and b) will I have a double bill for one month... paying
for my month of 2g iPhone & first month of 3gs phone??? I'm not sure
and therefore I ask this question.

on a side note... it would be sweet if there was a voice
dictation app for times like this when your typing alot
on the iPhone!

If you are in the middle of your billing cycle, you will be paying pro rata based on the time you spent on the original and 3GS.

so just one bill? my billing cycle resets
on the 22nd of the month. hopefully I'll
have the new one by then. not sure if I want
to stand in line at apple. so if I order through AT&T online( since
apples website won't let me.. gives an error
at the end of the process even though I'm eligible) not
sure when i'll receive it.
