So indecisive about MBP Cooling Fan/Pad

I really need advice/opinions or pros & cons on a cooling fan/pad for my new MBP 15". I have read many posts on this forum but can't seem which is the best and the posts seem a bit outdated to what new fan/pads are currently being released.

I would prefer to pick one up at the store in person asap but if I need to order one I can do it as well. I just spend lots of time on MBP mostly on my lap but will be using on my desktop as well.

i bought a Targus cooling pad for my powerbook after having it for year and it SIGNIFICANTLY reduced the heat and spinning fans...i have not regretted it once

now that i got my macbook pro i've been shopping for a new cooling pad that will fit its footprint and be effective. from what i've heard the most effective cooling pads have a space underneath the laptop as well as a fan to circulate the air. with that said, everywhere i've gone they have recommended this http://tinysave.net/links/j one. it obviously won't fit my 15"er that well so i went searching and will be ordering this http://tinysave.net/links/k one next week. its cheap and hopefully works well.
