Because we were airplaying stuff and it was still slightly letterboxed by about an inch on each side. Also it didn't scale to that size, it was a few pixels off, in photoshop.

Here you go.

Take 16 and divide by 9 = 1.7777 (1.78).

Now take any known vertical resolution number and multiply by 1.78 to get the horizontal resolution.

.....or take any known horizontal resolution number and divide by 1.78 to get the vertical resolution.

So 1366x768 is 16x9 (1.78) aspect ratio.

the storage aspect ratio is 40:71 but the pixels aren't square so the display aspect ratio is 9:16
