because im not, and i live in the DC metro area which i consider to be one of the bigger markets behind NY and maybe San Fran. i tested it out on the way home and had nothing but full bars the whole way home (no i didn't hold the phone the whole way home, but i tested it out maybe 4 or 5 times).
 
Mine only loses it's signal when I hold it in my house, not anywhere else.

I think holding it just weakens the signal strength, because it works perfectly everywhere else. :confused:
 
Never had signal issues before, but both iPhone 4's in our house now have signal issues everywhere we go. Never had a problem with the 5 different iPhones we have had before in the last 3 years.
