Ya'all insist the MBP needs to be "redesigned". The biggest "wants" are that it be thinner and lighter.

The two main things that contribute to it being thicker are the USB, older Thunderbolt and SD slots. So...Apple eliminates those and makes it thinner and lighter.

...and you still complain
 
Nobody asked for it to be thinner but if you are referring to this forum in particular, most people following these Apple centric pages want to keep their legacy ports. They can't see that USB-C is the future; faster and better in every way. Before they know it, those ~$10 USB drives at Dollar Tree in a few years will all be USB-C.
Really everyone here on MR has entitlement issues. If it doesn't serve their usage, it is deemed terrible/Apple is doomed/Steve Jobs wouldn't/My Leg/Form over function/etc.

Thinner and lighter sells. The forums here don't necessarily represent an accurate sample of Apples target market.
