So many Apple Watch + band combinations unavailable for pre-order. Are they really having hard time manufacturing a freakin piece of rubber??

I understand manufacturing issues with a complex piece of technology. But a rubber band?? What could possibly make it unavailable for pre-order??

Anything 44mm looks unavailable. They’re still listed but possibly discontinued.

The fact that Apple won't let us order the watch by itself is one of the biggest reasons of delays. Having to find the band (if it's available) and pack it together with the watch complicates the whole process. Back in the early Apple Watch release days, this wasn't an issue.

maybe new fall colors will be released soon?
But could also be related to "general" supply chain issues going on right now ...

Sometimes it's not the product that they're having problems with. It could as simple as a small chunk of flexible plastic needed for the packaging that's in short supply.

I agree with that, for example the SS is available with 2 solo loops or a Milanese, none of which I want and I would not buy any of those standalone bands ... need more flexibility for upgraders

especially when you can order the exact same band separately for delivery in a weeks time
