Hey Everyone -
1) I currently have Two-Step Verification enabled. The only thing I notice with it is when I go to login to another Apple Device or login to my Apple ID (online) it sends a 4 digit code to my iPhone.
2) I also have a Recovery Key for my account that (I assume) is a backup way to login if I forget my Apple Password and/or lose my iPhone.
3) I used to have to enter specific passwords for FaceTime and iMessage (it was an App Specific password) but now I no longer have to do that? Did they remove that for iMessage and FaceTime? I originally thought it was annoying but now it's gone.
4) What the heck is Two-Step Authentication? I'd like to do that (to add additional security) but I can't find a way to activate it and I'm a little confused.
Are all these security features necessary? And are they getting confusing or is it just me?
