I have a 13" MacBook 2.26 C2D, iPad and iPhone 3Gs
I mostly only run: Chrome, iTunes, VLC, PLEX, Skype, Things, GarageSale (I run online retail on ebay), PixelMator.
My biggest issues now are screen size and graphics.
I do a lot of photo work now with pixelmator and screen size is an issue. Also gaming graphics could be better.
However next year I will be moving to China and changing jobs therefor I wont be doing photo editing but I will continue to game if I can
.
Choices:
1) Sell my Macbook now for $750 buy refurb 2.4 GHz i5 MBP for $1267
- Will keep the macbook pro for a couple years or buy next one if I have the money
- Possibly upgrade to new iPad for traveling
2) Wait for next MBA refresh
- Sell Macbook in the future for lower price
- Possibly upgrade to new iPad
3) Wait till next year, save up and buy the new refresh of MBP
- That will mean no MBA cause it will be pretty pricey
- possibly buy next iPad
