And she's perfect. ^^

I'll post pictures in a bit, but I've gotta say, these machines are gorgeous.
I've been a PC user my entire life, and I have to tell you I'm an official convert now.

My MX Revolution wireless mouse hooked up perfectly (for an $100 dollar mouse I'd be pissed if it didn't)
The gorgeous (Glossy. That's right. Glossy. I personally thought the matte screens looked hideous comparatively) display has no defects/lightbleed.

It has a MUCH more solid feel to it than the previous MBPs. A couple of my friends have the previous gens and while they are very rigid,
the unibody feels like a tank.
The construction just seems so perfect I can't get over it, I find myself running my hands along the sharp corners and around the bezel.

Anyways, just wondered if anyone had any advice for a new MBP user?

I am a HUGE performance nut, so I've been messing around doing a few cleanups like disabling Dashboard + other things.

But does anyone have any app suggestions? Or useful terminal commands?

Thanks :p

Congrats and enjoy your new laptop. :D

Advice? . . . Simply enjoy and get to know your new MBP. Your frequent visits here will afford you much information. I wish that I knew about these boards when I got my first Mac. Nonetheless, these boards are full of friendly people and much useful information. ;)

Congrats as well. I got mine only 4 days ago and am just trying to run down the battery. I find it amazing that I've goten over 4 hours battery life while playing a windows game in Parallels.

Original poster here,

Quick question:

So I plan to run Bootcamp with a fresh version of XP for games
(Counter-strike: Source, Bioshock, etc.)

However, I wanted to run WoW in OSX simply because I multitask alot while playing and I'm going to have XP as barebones as possible.

I know that OSX doesn't use Direct X, and uses OpenGL, but will I take a big performance hit playing WoW on OSX?
Should I just bite the bullet and run it in XP?

P.S. Pics are coming, just need to find my cords for my camera :p

I'm sure it will scream at max settings.
