I reckon there will be one released in september and then one for the holiday season for max profit and hype.

That's what I think too. Using the back-to-school special to clear out Nanos and at 3rd-party retailers full-size iPods have been discounted in the past week. So hopefully September. It would really surprise me if we got nothing new for the holiday season.

Apple said that their August 7th Event is Mac-only.


New iPods will definitely be out in time for the holiday shopping season, most likely late august or September.
