I agree... Somewhat... Rather than Leopard doing the increasing, I think there might be some hidden phone gems still in the box, waiting for Leopard to come out, so that they're not revealed too early (things that just "have" to be in Leopard). Just a software update away from enabling them.

I wouldn't be surprised if the last 4 empty icon slots are already claimed.
