I guess we might be seing the las power pc powerbooks in september anybody expecting something special considering IBM's announcement of the dual core and portable G5 chips?

Um possibly. It would be great, not for me I just got mine last march...but still. The only thing I think I would want to see a price drop. ;)

Duff-Man says....and this new thread with absolutely no real new info could not have been posted in one of the other "new PB threads" because...?? ....oh yeah!

I figure they have to do something big to at least one of the powerbook line to open up space to update their other low end models... possibly high end graphics and the 17 might possibly see dual g4's

And you have to post in that annoying third person because...? oh yeah! :D

iGary says...Duff Man is right, we're going to have more PB next Tuesday threads than we did iBook next Tuesday threads a week ago...Oh yeah!

That aside, I would expect a new product and a PB update at Paris.

Sorry to get all conspiracy theory, but perhaps a new product that they'll announce in Paris will be the completion of the 3x2 product matrix 8)

Prosumer: Power Mac, Powerbook
Consumer: iMac, iBook
Mini: Mac mini, ?

Ahh... I think I'm really getting into the swing of being a rumormonger 8)

The first two are real possibilities, the last three, nope.

All you people who feel the need to post about how you dont like other people creating posts. Go and shove it other people making posts doesnt hurt you.. If you dont like powerbook/ibook next tuesday threads then heres an awsome idea dont look at them and especially dont post on them...
