Hey guys,

My storage in iCloud doesn't show messages correctly. It bundles it all into others.

When I check my usage on my Mac it shows correctly.

Any ideas?

Anyone? I already tried to reset my iPhone and restored as new, still had the issue.

Don't see it in iCloud or on my Mac

this is a known issue with messages not syncing across devices. call apple and file a report with them please. I already did. The more the better

Thanks guys, the amount of 'usage' is correct though. It's just that rather than showing Messages as its own category, it's being bundled into 'Others'.

On my Mac and on iCloud.com it shows correctly...

weird.

Hmm, I don’t even have Messages listed under my iCloud Store, Manage Storage. And no option to turn it in under my iCloud account.

OP: Is this visual or graph legend bug that big of a deal?

To poster above, when you flip the iCloud messages switch, it’s on.

Not in itself. However, I feel these inconsistencies grow and it shakes my confidence in the platform.

There are other examples, such as iCloud mislabelling my MacBook Pro 2018 a “Mac”.
