I can assume that it has 256 MB ram? I don't care as long as safari does not checkboard and keep reloading tabs.
 
Hard to say right now. Steve didn't say and many times, Apple doesn't give that level of detail for RAM and CPU.
 
Has Apple ever made a big deal about the amount of RAM? I would think for iMovie they would need more.
 
No they never announce original ram either. I never thought they would. It'll be 512MB, and will be found out when it gets teared down

I'd be absolutely amazed if it wasn't 512mb or more given apps like iMovie being touted. Make zero sense not to upgrade it.
