do they also load ios4 and everything? i always thought that they went to cupertino to have this done. just curious, but it looks like they obviously have to load it.

yes they are completely finished products straight from china.

It's not likely he "knows" that, but it is very likely. If they verify their flash components are functional, which I'm sure they do, they'd be verified on a specialized test bench. It would be easy to flash them with iOS4 at that time, since they have full access to the parts. No iTunes or dock connector setup required.

It's logical, if you think about it. Otherwise, if the flash was completely blank, how would they boot?
