Ok, so I have a website that I use primarily for my email address. About a month ago the server that my website was on died, and for whatever reason, the company lost my data. It was all good cause my website wasn't much, but I did loose a week's worth of email (nothing important, as far as I know).

Anyway, they got the server up and running, I recreated my email account, and it wouldn't load to my laptop, on account of the changes due to the reset. I did, however, manage to get it on my iPod, which was sufficient for me.

Today I decided to get it running again on my laptop. I ended up having to create a new account in Mail (or at least I decided it would be the easiest way), and it worked. Then I deleted the old account, because it wasn't working anyway. But I forgot... because I had it set up IMAP, all the 2000 some emails I had in my mailbox from before the crash got deleted along with it.

So, here's the question. Is there any way to recover those emails? They should be on my computer or my time machine backups somewhere, right? I wouldn't mind re-instating the broken account if necessary, but I'd really like to get my emails back...

Thanks so much!
Andrew
