Everywhere in the world besides the States will have a different looking iPhone because of the antenna slit placement. We don't have CDMA iPhones so the 4S will have a slight visual difference.

WRONG. The text on the back of the 3G was grey and it was silver on the 3GS.


And yeah, as someone else said it is heavier but otherwise identical to a CDMA iPhone 4.

I am really looking forward to anandtech's article on this after their detailed comparisons with the original AT&T and Verizon iphone 4s. However, unless they provided some isolation coating to the antennae I don't fancy we are going to see any material differences.

With the Verizon phone they did drop the attenuation by a good amount but the "holding naturally" is still awful with the Verizon phone:
