I backed up my phone via Finder (with password) as I thought this backed up the IPA's from the phone. I was wrong. After restoring to the new device, the apps were all placeholders and began downloading from the App Store.

I reset and then did device to device, thinking that transferred IPA's, but no go.

I have a few apps that are no longer in the App Store. Time for imazing, I guess.

If the apps are no longer in the App Store, you won't be able to download them with iMazing. I don't believe iMazing will transfer IPA bundles directly off the iPhone. Better hope you downloaded these apps using iTunes in the past. If you did, the app IPAs will be in your iTunes App Library on disk and you can import them to iMazing.
