I backed up my phone via Finder (with password) as I thought this backed up the IPA's from the phone. I was wrong. After restoring to the new device, the apps were all placeholders and began downloading from the App Store.

I reset and then did device to device, thinking that transferred IPA's, but no go.

I have a few apps that are no longer in the App Store. Time for imazing, I guess.

If the apps are no longer in the App Store, you won't be able to download them with iMazing. I don't believe iMazing will transfer IPA bundles directly off the iPhone. Better hope you downloaded these apps using iTunes in the past. If you did, the app IPAs will be in your iTunes App Library on disk and you can import them to iMazing.

Not only that, connecting any apple device for restoring purposes on a PC Windows 11 its pretty useless nowadays imo, last year brick devices this year i didn't even try.

I use 1 app that is no longer on the App Store, so I checked out beforehand how I could transfer it from my 17PM to the 17PM. I knew about amazing nd some other way that I son't remember anymore.
So when I picked up my new 17PM in store, I chose iCloud restore (I used Apple's offer to backup your old iPhone to iCloud for purposes of migration).
When I checked the new phone out, that app is there, and functioning.
That was the only good thing bout iCloud restore, doesn't belong in this thread but will never use it agin, phone to phone like I used in the past is the way to go.
