Nope. That was proven as a case. The new iphone has a more defined back rather than the rounded one in that picture. Also if you look closely, the volume buttons and silent switch are not metal, 3g has metal buttons.

I dunno even if it was seen to be a case.. it looks surprisingly like the new iPhone. Check the camera. Even the holes on the bottom look interesting, not quite like the new one but halfway there.
