So, I downloaded the software update today, and it did have a little trouble installing it, I had to do it manually that is. And after the restart safari will open, sort of. But, it crashes if i try and open a window and in the about safari window it says "localized string not found" and I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure that it means some critical data isn't there anymore. SO, anyone have any ideas about what to do.

I'm on a 1.5GHz powerbook G4 with 1.5 GB of RAM.

Thanks in advance!

So the problem I think is; is that it started to get rid of Safari 2 but never installed Safari 3, because when I go to about Safari(if i can get it not to crash) it still has Safari 2.0.4.

Irishgrizzly: I tried verifying and it gave me an error…
