Is it really that bad? I sort of expected that while scratches would show, if you took decent care of it you wouldn't end up with many anyway - but the impression I'm getting from the Engadget review and the like is that it pretty much scratches if you so much as look at it funny.
I much prefer the look of the new macbook over the pro, and that's why I ordered it, but if it's going to look that bad after less than a week I might consider sending it back now... it hasn't arrived yet.
