Hi. I camped out for a PS3 for a LOOONG time to get one. Too bad that even by doing so, I was stuck with the 20GB model. No big deal.

But after reading about possibly upgrading the HDD in my Macbook, and checking prices, I think that the PS3 uses the same, 2.5" internal SATA drive.

Is that the case? If it is, then would pulling the 60GB out of my Macbook and replacing it with a larger drive, and then placing the old 60GB HDD into my PS3 be fine? Will I run into any trouble?

Thanks.

Yes they do use the same HD. I have a 20gb model also and I want to do the HD upgrade but cant decide on a size, umm 160 GBs. I install Yellow Dog Linux so I have less space then the usualy gamer.
