Old model

"4GB (two 2GB SO-DIMMs) of 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM; supports up to 4GB"

New ones support 8gb

ok well I think I'll jump on this one then. Really 6gb of ram for me is fine somewhere in the future. My only other dilemma was missing an extra 2.5 hours of battery life. Hope I don't miss it too much!

I don't think you will unless you can get all your mobile work done in roughly 5-6? hours. I think I'd rather have a swappable battery. That way you can carry as many extras as you need and won't have to worry about running out.

Well I pushed go on it a few minutes ago. 2 'speed bumps' ago or not, I feel like I got a deal.

Time to stock up on batteries I guess? :)

Even though I've heard pros and cons to various aspects about this model, I like the extra speed and gpu it offered for the same price. Hope the screen isn't too bad?
