As there isn't a page on Apple's site specifically about the W1 chip, I'm curious about exactly what it influences. The efficiency significantly improves battery life and makes form factors like the AirPods possible, while the range is best-in-class, and the pairing with iOS devices is seamless. Beyond that though, what are the other features Apple doesn't openly boast about? The Solo3 sound significantly better in wireless mode (they sound like a jumbled mess in wired mode, and I would expect them to sound much better than the Solo2 as well based on how much better the audio is in the wireless mode whose underlying tech was completely overhauled) which I'd owe up to Apple putting a miraculous DAC/amplifier in them. I wonder if the W1 influences the sound to make it so much better. Anybody have any PDFs to share?
