Don't know why I think it. But I'm going with iExtension, or anything that someone might relate as a similar name.
They went pretty generic with iPod.GimmeSlack12 said:I'd be surprised if Apple uses a generic name like iPhone.
Oh come on. The iPod? Where would you have come up with the name of an MP3 player as a Pod? Generic for an MP3 player would have been iMP3, or iDigitalMusic.dejo said:They went pretty generic with iPod.

iPod: I give it credit for being simple. As does iPhone, but the speculation and rumors behind 'iPhone' would be enough (I think) to deter Apple from actually using that name. Also I somehow feel your definition for 'Pod' is from the dictionary. And that's too easy.dejo said:Think even more generic. As in pod: "a detachable or self-contained unit on an aircraft, spacecraft, vehicle, or vessel, having a particular function"...![]()
It is. Hence theGimmeSlack12 said:Also I somehow feel your definition for 'Pod' is from the dictionary.
Oh well as long as the Apple phone comes free with a contract I don't really care what it is called (and has a camera, and 30GB of memory, and walks the dog).dejo said:It is. Hence the![]()
