Why is it there? Only having Safari to do anything with it is very basic. Is it for security? Really, if i was a guest and had to use guest user i'd feel like i'm missing something.

I haven't checked into the guest account features fully yet, but if its anything like the guest account on (sorry for using a dirty word) Windows, then it basically prevents the user from saving any documents, screwing with the system, and generally screwing things up. It's primarily there for security purposes.

Oh okay, that sounds sensible. Thanks!

I use a laptop that is also my work computer. So the guest account is amazing, because I don't need to worry about anyone messing with all my files and settings. And it cleans itself up after every use. Very awesome feature.
