So what’s next for the entry level MBP?

Given what all was announced today, what do you guys think will come to the entry level MBP next year aside from the M2?

Any chance of the redesign but with less features?

The 13in. Pro now looks like the odd man out. The M1 Air is a much better value and very near equal in performance to the 13 Pro. The 13 Pro pales compared to the new 14 Pro although the 14 is a significant jump in price from the 13.

I really thought they would be replacing the 13 with a 14, but not with that price jump.

I reckon it will be discontinued and replaced with a higher config MacBook Air. The cheap 13in Pro has always stuck out, compared with the more expensive Pros.

I think so.

They could release a 16-inch MacBook Air now that they have this price gap, but I am not holding my breath.
